Today, the Division of Local Services (DLS) of the Deparment of Revenue (DOR) published the FY2012 local aid estimates based on the House Ways & Means Committee (HWM) budget proposal. These figures are critical to the Town's overall budget makeup and strategy.
Every town is listed so you can compare what different towns get for Chapter 70 money, or in General Goverment support. Click here to go to the DLS website to pull up the numbers. Look for the selection "FY2012 Download Spreadsheet."

If you are a municipal policy wonk like I am, you will find this information fascinating. While Michael Boynton does an excellent job of explaining all this at Town Meeting, if you want you could take a look and get a head start.
